We now have offices in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston, Texas, and our service capabilities include all aspects of electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering design; industrial control system programming; and IT infrastructure design, networking, and consulting services.

Our work primarily serves municipal water/wastewater utilities, state and local jails, detention/corrections facilities, as well as private clients.

We are seeking an entry level electrical and instrumentation engineer to join our team in the Dallas office.

Essential Functions

• Support senior staff in performing industrial control system assessments and prepare preliminary design reports (PDRs)
• Develop detailed technical documentation such as project plans and specifications, engineering reports, etc.
• Support senior staff in development of Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC)
• Support senior staff in witnessing of field acceptance test (FATs) and field inspections
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Qualifications/

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Ability to take direction effectively and work in a team environment
• Experience in water/wastewater preferred, but not required
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Auto
• CAD and Microstation experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
