The Work
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Financials implementations covering Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance applications for mid-market clients under the Accenture Edge model
- Design and configure finance solutions aligned to client business processes, including chart of accounts design, subledger accounting, payment processing, receivables management, asset lifecycle, and collections strategy
- Facilitate requirements-gathering and design workshops with client finance and IT stakeholders; document business requirements and solution design decisions
- Develop functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and test scripts; lead SIT, UAT, and cutover activities
- Advise clients on Oracle best practices for period-close, reconciliation, and reporting across the financial modules
- Identify risks, issues, and options proactively; present recommendations to clients and project leadership
- Support business development through client demos, proposal contributions, and solution storytelling
- Stay current on Oracle Cloud Financials releases and mid-market-relevant AI/automation capabilities to continuously improve client outcomes
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to design and validate Oracle Financials solutions that meet integration and compliance requirements across connected platforms
- Train and enable client super-users on Oracle Financials processes and configurations; maintain clear system documentation for configurations, integration touchpoints, and operational procedures
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
What You Need
- Minimum of 5 years of Oracle Financials implementation experience, with hands-on configuration expertise across Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance applications
- Minimum of 5 years working with core finance and accounting processes including period-close, reconciliations, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed asset management & collections.
- Minimum of 3 years working with Oracle Projects
- Minimum of 3 years working directly with mid-market or enterprise clients; ability to communicate effectively with finance business users, IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate solution delivery and ensure compliance with business requirements
- Minimum of 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion Financials) implementations delivered end-to-end — from requirements and design through go-live and hypercare
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)
Bonus Points If
- Oracle Cloud Financials certification (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud: General Ledger 2025 Implementation Professional)
- Experience with Advanced Collections module configuration including dunning letters, Customer statements etc.
- Knowledge of Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA) and multi-book accounting setups
- Experience integrating Oracle Financials with Avanade/Microsoft Azure platforms or Power BI for reporting
- Understanding of AI-driven finance automation opportunities (e.g., intelligent document processing in AP, predictive collections)
- Demonstrated ability to lead proposals, solution scoping, and client orals for mid-market pursuits
- Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or equivalent middleware; ability to engage effectively with integration teams on Oracle Financials connectivity requirements, API interactions, and data flow validation
- Experience maintaining structured system documentation — configuration workbooks, integration architecture summaries, and operational procedures — for compliance, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support
- MBA and/or CPA / CA certification
