A growing multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager Landscape Architecture to join its Raleigh team. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a licensed Landscape Architect who enjoys managing projects, mentoring staff, building client relationships, and helping shape the future direction of a growing practice.

The Role

This position is responsible for leading landscape architecture projects from concept through construction, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. The successful candidate will oversee project teams, support business development efforts, and contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the landscape architecture practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage landscape architecture projects through all phases, from planning and design to construction administration.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Review design documents and technical drawings to maintain quality and consistency.
• Support and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Assist with workload planning, resource allocation, and team performance.
• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and billing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting new business opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and qualification packages for prospective projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, engineers, and other design professionals.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and long-term success of the landscape architecture practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) licensure required.
• 7+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture, planning, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and leading project teams.
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other industry-standard software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
