We're seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR leader who enjoys balancing big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. You'll shape our people strategy, strengthen our culture, ensure compliance across a multi-state workforce, and help support the healthcare professionals who care for patients across the country.

What You'll Do

As our Director of Human Resources, you will

• Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and organizational success.
• Lead all aspects of employee relations, including coaching managers, conducting investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, accommodations, and policy interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a national healthcare staffing workforce.
• Oversee HR operations, including employee records, HR systems, reporting, compliance documentation, and policy administration.
• Manage compensation planning, market benchmarking, benefits administration, and annual health plan renewals.
• Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure compliance with multi-state wage and hour laws, leave administration, and employment regulations.
• Support our internal HR team in providing guidance to employees throughout their employment and assignment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and client-facing teams to resolve workplace concerns while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Develop initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
• Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR policies, and standard operating procedures.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an HR leader who brings both strategic vision and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years in an HR leadership role
• Experience supporting multi-state employees in a highly regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, PWFA, Title VII, wage and hour regulations, and state leave laws
• Demonstrated experience managing employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on organizational initiatives
• Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable certification preferred

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare staffing, healthcare services, workforce solutions, PEO, or another highly regulated industry
• Supporting traveling healthcare professionals or contingent workforces
• Multi-state employment law and compliance expertise
