Inventory Control Supervisor

The Winter Haven branch of Coke Florida is hiring a Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee the distribution operations. The schedule is set to begin at 3am, Tuesday through Saturday, which is the first shift.

What you will do

The efficient distribution of products and the management of drivers within an assigned area in Winter Haven will be the focus of your role as a Supervisor at Coke Florida Distribution.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The role of a team leader is to manage, instruct, assess, and develop the competencies of staff members
• Make sure that operational procedures are designed and implemented in a way that comply with all delivery standards, efficiencies, and regulatory requirements, while addressing customer expectations and meeting business objectives
• Maintains the operation of scheduling drivers while keeping track of their hours, managing the optimum use of resources
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas for improvement, implement necessary changes, and continually enhance the customer experience
• Support and encourage cross-functional collaboration and teamwork
• Encourage employees to take personal responsibility for their attendance and punctuality by emphasizing the impact of their actions on the team as a whole
• Operating within a strict budget for labor and OPEX forces organizations to focus on value-add activities and lower their non-essential costs

For this role, you will need

• Despite the potential advantages of a GED, a high school diploma can still hold significant weight in today's economy. Employers often view high school diplomas as a sign of dedication, perseverance, and work ethic
• With a history of more than one year of work in consumer products and direct store delivery, I have the expertise to excel in this arena
• Candidates applying for this role must have experience in managing personnel and financial resources
• Companies that prioritize compliance with DOT regulations are more likely to maintain a positive reputation and avoid legal issues
• To be in compliance with the MVR policy standards, employees must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving history

Supplemental proficiencies that can increase your value in this role:

• Having intermediate-level computer skills enables individuals to manage and streamline complex tasks such as organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data in a more systematic and effective manner
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Individuals with at least one year of experience in managing distribution and delivery employees are preferred
• A CDL A license is a valuable asset
