This hands-on General Manager role is designed for experienced restaurant leaders who are ready to take the next step in their careers. Assistant General Managers, Restaurant Managers, Service Managers, Food & Beverage Managers, and similar hospitality leaders are encouraged to apply.

You’ll lead a team of approximately 20-30 employees while partnering directly with ownership to strengthen operations, develop people, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role

As General Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operation of a growing upscale casual restaurant where both the food and beverage experience are central to the guest experience.

You’ll lead the front-of-house operation while partnering with culinary leadership to deliver consistent execution, strong financial performance, and exceptional hospitality. You’ll also work directly with ownership to help guide the restaurant’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations
• Drive guest satisfaction and operational excellence
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members
• Manage scheduling, labor, payroll, and staffing levels
• Monitor food, beverage, and liquor costs
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
• Partner closely with culinary leadership on daily execution
• Resolve guest concerns and lead service recovery
• Maintain food safety, liquor law, and operational compliance
• Continuously improve systems, team performance, and the guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Service Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, or comparable hospitality leadership experience
• Experience leading high-volume restaurant operations
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&Ls, labor management, and cost controls
• Experience managing teams of approximately 20 or more employees
• Experience with scheduling, payroll, staffing, and inventory management
• Beverage inventory and liquor cost-control experience preferred
• Proven success coaching, developing, and retaining teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Food safety knowledge
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
