Part-Time Accounts Assistant High-End Jewellery Designer - Belgravia, London

A prestigious high-end jewellery designer, based in the heart of Belgravia, London, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join its friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised accounting professional who enjoys working in a luxury environment where discretion, accuracy and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Reconcile client deposits and other receipts
• Update cash books and post transactions to Sage
• Prepare and process supplier payment runs
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Post credit card transactions and payroll journals
• Prepare annual accounts to review stage
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Complete pension submissions
• Produce internal financial and management reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and support the smooth running of the finance function

About You

The successful candidate will have

• Proven bookkeeping or accounts experience in a similar role
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• A high level of computer literacy and experience using accounting software
• Proficiency in Sage is essential
• The ability to work accurately, efficiently and meet deadlines
• A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving
• An understanding of the importance of security when working within a business handling high-value items
• A professional, discreet manner with a strong appreciation for client confidentiality
