Duties

• Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations
• Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours and minimise labour costs
• Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation across all areas of the restaurant
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
• Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and maintaining records

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
• Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
• Previous experience in restaurant management or similar leadership roles is essential
• Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality standards
• Experience in managing barista services or bar operations is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration

Pay: From £13.75 per hour
