• Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Onsite)
• Experience: 7+ Years

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with experience in building highly scalable UI solutions within a microservices-based architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to build innovative products from the ground up while working alongside a highly skilled cross-functional team to enhance our core banking platform.

Key Responsibilities-

• Own the design, development, and delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
• Provide accurate effort estimates and actively participate in sprint planning activities.
• Develop secure and reliable frontend solutions.
• Optimize and improve the performance of existing applications.
• Conduct peer code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with technical leads and team members to design, plan, and implement components and interaction patterns.
• Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decision-making processes.
• Contribute to architecture and technology discussions related to frontend applications.

Qualifications & Skills-

• Strong frontend development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused features.
• Familiarity with automated build pipelines, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices.
• Experience using source code repositories such as GitHub.
• Proven ability to work closely with UX designers and Product Owners to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Experience writing high-quality, testable code with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• 5+ years of experience in web application development using Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud deployments and containerized distributed systems, including Docker.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux (*nix) environments.
