Duties

• Prepare and cook authentic Nigerian dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain efficient operations
• Manage food handling processes, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Oversee food service activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals to customers
• Lead team management efforts by training new staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through effective stock control

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant service within a fast-paced environment
• Supervising experience in a culinary or hospitality setting is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Excellent understanding of food safety protocols and handling procedures
• Previous restaurant management or kitchen experience is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
