Junior Architect

We are growing and we want you to be a part of what makes us great. We are seeking a junior architect with two to five years of experience working in an architectural practice. Junior team members of our studio are expected to promote the success of the firm by assisting in the design, production and coordination of projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain high level of design production, seeking assistance when required;

Work collaboratively as a team member;

Basic understanding and assists with consultant coordination;

Use BDP Quadrangle communication standards to ensure accurate and professional communications;

Manage individual time and deadlines.

Key Competencies, skills and professional requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture;

2-5 years of experience in an architectural practice;

Shows curiosity about building science and construction detailing;

Excellent design and visual communication skills;

Shows curiosity about municipal approval processes and building code;

Excellent communication skills with team members to ensure accuracy;

Good skills in Revit and a familiarity with other technical or design communication software;

Experience using Revit in a professional environment is preferred;

Experience in multi-unit residential is an advantage.
