ASSISTANT ACCOUNT MANAGER/ MERCHANDISER - FASHION SUPPLIER

Our client a successful Fashion Brand House are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Account Manager/ Import Merchandiser to support a portfolio of Manchester-based menswear accounts across multiple brands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Fashion Assistant Import Merchandiser, or a Product Administrator with good Excel skills and Critical Path management experience looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to Senior Account Manager

Assisting the Account Manager with customer accounts and in house brand development.

Build, develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams

Assist in customer meetings where necessary and collaborate with the wider team – Design and Technologists to develop commercially relevant product.

Monitor and chase weekly critical paths, sample development trackers and price enquiries to ensure deadlines are met.

Raising Purchase Orders with factories

Assist in daily/weekly product review meetings

Create and maintain seasonal Excel trackers and reports.

Produce sales and performance reports from Shopify.

Assist Account Manager with sales performance reviews

Support the Account Manager with day-to-day account administration.

Ensure all customer information and product data is accurate and up to date.

Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers and internal teams.

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED

Previous experience in an Assistant Merchandiser, Assistant Import Merchandiser, Product Administrator or similar role within the fashion supplier/ D2C industry.

Experience in Critical path and overseas supplier

Strong commercial awareness with a genuine passion for fashion and product.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Highly analytical with strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Confident user of Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Positive, proactive team player with a desire to learn and develop.
