About the Role...

We have an exciting opportunity within our excellent Internal Audit and Assurance Team for a Principal Audit and Assurance Officer. Working directly with the Head of Audit and Assurance, you will help to develop and manage the Internal Audit service as we fulfil all requirements of the Global Internal Audit Standards and shape modern assurance services for the future.

This is an influential role for a forward-thinking, talented assurance professional. You will enjoy working as part of a successful service with genuine organisational reach, supporting colleagues at all organisational levels and elected members - adding value and making a real difference.

About You...

You will have proven experience of delivering effective Internal Audit services at a senior practitioner level. You will be confident in managing complex audit assignments end to end which have high-impact, add real value and provide meaningful insight across a diverse range of business areas.

You will be able to demonstrate a proportionate and risk-based approach, and provide constructive and supportive challenge where it matters most. You will have experience of managing team members effectively and building trusted relationships with colleagues and clients alike. An excellent communicator, you will help drive improvement and good governance.
