THE ROLE

We are looking for a friendly and organised Housekeeper/Supervisor to ensure our office is well stocked, clean and tidy throughout the day, reporting any issues. You’ll work closely with our Reception team to ensure meeting rooms are well presented and assist with setting up lunches when required. You will supervise the additional housekeeper, reporting any issues to the Facilities manager.

You will also complete a daily handover to the evening cleaning team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Other duties may be assigned outside of the following duties and responsibilities:

• Stocking of main kitchen and tea points with milk and fruit deliveries – reporting any shortfalls to Reception
• Refilling and setting up of all coffee machines each morning
• Restocking kitchen/tea points each day
• Keeping kitchen and tea points clean throughout the day including loading/unloading dishwashers
• Regularly checking all meeting rooms to ensure they are clean and tidy ready for the next meeting
• Assisting Reception with setting up plates etc for lunch meetings/training
• Ensure all toilets are regularly checked and cleaned as necessary throughout the day
• Ensure all toilets are well stocked with hygiene products and toilet rolls
• Ensuring waste is recycled and disposed of in the designated bins downstairs
• Sanitising high touch areas such as doors and plates
• Ad hoc spot hoover/carpet cleaning as requested
• Additional duties as requested by the wider team/Facilities Manager
• Supervision of 1 other team member
• Handover to the evening cleaning team

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous supervisory experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Able to prioritise tasks
• Self-motivating, able to take initiative
• People oriented with a friendly and approachable manner
• Basic health and safety knowledge of handling cleaning products
• Good knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility may be required with working hours
