Venuiti is driving an innovative project for a leading healthcare company. Our team has developed a mission-critical application suite used by healthcare providers in the US and internationally to enhance care quality and patient outcomes.

We are now seeking a skilled, seasoned, and product-driven Frontend Tech Lead to join our Waterloo technical team. This is your opportunity to lead the technical delivery of a project designed to save lives through the work of dedicated healthcare practitioners using your solutions.

In this role, you will lead the implementation of an enterprise healthcare application, emphasizing user experience, team velocity, and code quality. You will manage and collaborate with a team of skilled software engineers in an agile environment to bring this impactful project to life. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of front-end developers in the design and implementation of an overall React-based module, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Guide developers in the creation of reusable, modular React components and establish best practices for front-end development.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions and sprint deliverables.
• Mentor and coach developers on React best practices, code quality, and peer reviews.
• Drive the adoption of modern front-end tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance development efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs and third-party services while maintaining security and performance standards.
• Oversee testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to ensure code reliability and robustness.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase and team processes to support collaboration and future maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in ReactJS with 7+ years of professional experience, including team leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end tooling.
• Expertise in React Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Experience designing component libraries and integrating enterprise-grade UI frameworks (Material-UI, Ant Design, etc.).
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, including code splitting, lazy loading, and rendering strategies.
• Strong grasp of RESTful API consumption and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library), and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
• Experience in enterprise-scale application development and agile methodologies.
• Must be based fully onsite in our Waterloo, Ontario office.
• Leadership in Agile Environments: Experience leading agile teams, facilitating technical discussions, managing sprint cadences, and driving consensus.

Pay: $180,000.00-$220,000.00 per year
