Dental Office Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of dental and medical office procedures, and proficiency in practice management software.

Duties

• Manage daily administrative operations of the dental office, including scheduling, billing, and patient records
• Supervise front desk staff, dental assistants, and hygienists to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service
• Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
• Utilize Dentrix and other electronic medical records systems for accurate documentation and data management
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including medical terminology standards and privacy laws
• Coordinate with dental practitioners to optimize clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory management to maintain operational effectiveness
• Implement policies for infection control, safety protocols, and COVID-19 protective measures

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a dental office setting or medical office environment with supervisory responsibilities
• Proficiency in Dentrix or similar practice management software; experience with electronic medical records systems is preferred
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, billing procedures, and healthcare regulations
• Background in human resources management within healthcare settings
• Previous experience in hospital or nursing environments, especially in acute care settings, is advantageous
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within healthcare practices

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
