GGFI Law is seeking an Estates Law Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Estates Department and its lawyers by preparing legal documents, managing files, and ensuring smooth processes for our clients. Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will

• Prepare Applications for Certificates of Appointment (with or without a Will);
• Complete Estate Information Returns;
• Draft and review estate, trust, guardian, and attorney accounts;
• Liquidate share assets;
• Complete reporting letters and other necessary correspondence;
• Assist in the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney;
• Handle digital file organization, scanning, and administrative tasks;
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Law clerk diploma, related legal education, or equivalent practical experience;
• Experience in estates law considered an asset;
• Great attention to detail and ability to proofread legal documents accurately;
• Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines;
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative;
• Excellent client service and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
