Family Law Lawyer

Cohen Highley LLP is currently recruiting a Family Law Lawyer to fill an existing vacancy. This position will be based in our Kitchener office.

Our Family Law group provides strategic, compassionate, and results-focused representation to individuals navigating a wide range of family law matters. We assist clients in disputes arising from the breakdown of personal relationships, including separation and divorce, parenting and decision-making issues, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic contracts.

Our work also includes complex and high‑conflict matters before the Courts and applicable tribunals, with a focus on achieving practical, durable outcomes while protecting our clients’ rights and interests.

We are dedicated to our clients and tailor solutions to their specific needs to help them achieve their goals. We understand that every client’s matter is unique. We tailor our approach to each client’s objectives and deliver clear, practical advice at every step, whether the best path is negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience
• Self-motivated
• Excellent client service skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Salary Range

$115,000 - $165,000 with the opportunity for additional compensation and bonus depending on performance metrics.
