Job Summary

As a key member of our kitchen management, the Sous Chef will assist in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards
• Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Coordinate with team members to plan menus, manage inventory, and control costs
• Ensure timely serving of dishes while maintaining high standards of taste and presentation
• Support training initiatives related to food safety, kitchen techniques, and service excellence
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
• Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the restaurant environment

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry practices
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Extensive restaurant management knowledge including food safety protocols and hospitality standards
• Excellent skills in food handling, serving, and maintaining high-quality service standards
• Previous restaurant experience with a focus on kitchen operations and team management
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to excellence in food quality and customer satisfaction

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
