Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Role: Intermediate Mechanical Designer

Location: KWG

Salary: 75k+ (Based on Experience)

We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded consulting engineering firm in the Kitchener–Waterloo region that is looking to add an Intermediate Mechanical Designer to their growing team. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems

Prepare drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit

Support project teams through all phases, including schematic design, detailed design, and construction administration

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, and architectural consultants

Perform basic calculations and assist with system sizing and equipment selection

Attend site visits and support field reviews as required

Qualifications

3–6 years of experience in mechanical design within a building consulting environment

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit

Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (OBC, ASHRAE, etc.)

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to continue developing technically
