JOB PURPOSE
The Business Process & Operational Analyst will be a key driver of execution within the operations and transformation team, reporting directly to the SVP of Operations & Business Transformation.
Based in Miami, Florida, this role is responsible for mapping, analyzing, and optimizing the operational organization, processes, workflows and systems that support the company’s growth in the United States, while ensuring alignment with global standards.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between day-to-day operations and strategic operational initiatives. This role requires a data-driven professional who can analyze transactional data, identify bottlenecks in back-office administrative processes, and help implement cutting-edge mobility solutions like Multi-Lane Free-Flow (MLFF) tolling.
RESPONSABILITIES
Process Mapping & Workflow Optimization
- Document and analyze end-to-end operational processes across transactional back-office systems, customer service, and commercial billing operations.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies, and propose actionable, data-backed recommendations for process re-engineering.
- Support the implementation of automation initiatives (such as RPA and AI-driven tools) to streamline administrative workflows.
Operational Data Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs for US projects, tracking operational performance, system availability, and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain dynamic operational dashboards and reports to provide the SVP Operations & Business Transformation with clear visibility into daily performance and long-term trends.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to support Revenue Assurance initiatives, helping to detect and mitigate transactional leakage or system discrepancies.
Business Transformation Support
- Act as a key project member during the analysis, delivery and deployment of new operations in the US market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications for systems architecture updates.
- Assist in creating change management documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to ensure smooth technology adoption by local operational teams.
Cross-Border Collaboration & Quality Control
- Work closely with global teams at headquarters to ensure local US processes are aligned with global governance and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on operational failures or client complaints, tracking corrective actions to completion.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt), BPMN, or Agile/Scrum are highly desirable.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a business analyst, process engineer, or operational analyst.
- Industry Expertise: Experience working in high-volume transactional environments is required. Prior exposure to the mobility sector, electronic toll collection (ETC), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), or logistics/transport infrastructure is a significant plus.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong data analytics capabilities, with advanced command of Excel and experience utilizing BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL for querying databases.
- Proficiency in process mapping and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Bizagi, Lucidchart).
- Familiarity with transactional back-office architectures, CRM platforms, or ERP software.
SOFT SKILLS
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to dive deep into complex, high-volume transactional data and extract clear, actionable business insights.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings clearly to executive leadership.
- Collaboration in Matrix Environments: A collaborative mindset comfortable working with local US teams and cross-border global stakeholders.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required to facilitate daily operations between the Miami office and global corporate teams.
