Overview

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Junior Database Modeler to support computer-based modeling activities. This opportunity is well suited for a recent engineering graduate who is interested in applying technical and analytical skills in a specialized modeling environment.

No significant prior modeling experience is required. The selected candidate will receive approximately three to four months of structured on-the-job and classroom training in database modeling tools, standards, and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or another engineering discipline
• Academic concentration or coursework in power systems preferred
• Successful completion of courses such as Power Systems I and Power Systems II is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to learn computer-based database modeling applications and procedures
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with technical information
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates from all electrical engineering concentrations, as well as those holding bachelor’s degrees in other engineering disciplines, will be considered.
