The Need

We're seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to help lead MyPrize's enterprise compliance and operational risk programs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company where you'll be responsible for strengthening the company's compliance infrastructure across payments, financial crime prevention, regulatory reporting, information security, and operational governance while supporting MyPrize's continued expansion across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.

The Role

As the Risk & Compliance Manager, you'll own the day-to-day execution of MyPrize's compliance and risk management programs. You'll work closely with Legal, Product, Payments, Engineering, Finance, Customer Operations, and Executive Leadership to oversee payment compliance, AML/KYC, fraud prevention, regulatory reporting, internal controls, audits, and governance initiatives.

You'll play a critical role in supporting MyPrize's compliant multi-jurisdiction product strategy while continuously improving the company's enterprise compliance framework as the business scales.

What you will do at MyPrize

• Payments & Financial Crime Compliance: Oversee compliance programs relating to payments, money movement, AML, KYC, fraud prevention, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity investigations, SAR filings, and other required regulatory reporting.
• Risk Assessment & Operational Controls: Identify operational, financial, regulatory, and technology risks while partnering across the business to strengthen controls and reduce organizational risk.
• Audit & Information Security Compliance: Coordinate SOC 2, ISO, internal audits, vendor due diligence, control testing, and remediation efforts.
• Policy & Governance Development: Develop, maintain, and improve compliance policies, operational procedures, training programs, governance documentation, and risk registers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Legal, Product, Engineering, Payments, Finance, Customer Operations, and Executive Leadership to support compliant product launches and multi-jurisdiction regulatory initiatives.

What you bring to MyPrize

• 5+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Crime, AML, Payments, Internal Audit, or Governance within a fintech, gaming, payments, financial services, or regulated technology company.
• Strong understanding of AML, KYC, fraud prevention, payment operations, transaction monitoring, sanctions compliance, regulatory reporting, and enterprise risk management.
• Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO, internal controls, audit readiness, and governance programs.
• Experience developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and implementing scalable operational controls.
• Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Regular user of modern AI and LLM productivity tools to accelerate compliance research, policy drafting, audit preparation, documentation, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.

• Experience with SAR filings, AML transaction monitoring systems, fraud tooling, payment operations, and financial crime investigations.
• Experience supporting regulated gaming, fintech, payments, or money transmission businesses.
• Experience with SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GRC platforms, and enterprise audit programs.
• Experience supporting multi-state, multi-country, or multi-jurisdiction regulatory compliance initiatives.
