Business Office Manager

Our facility/Nursing Home is hiring a Business Office Manager to perform the necessary tasks that are required by state laws and regulations. Job will include but not be limited to:

• Maintaining Census data in EMR (PCC)
• Collections for Private Pay and Patient Liability bills
• Maintaining records and updates on Collection attempts
• Monitoring reports and implementing strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
• Maintaining Resident Funds accounts and Direct Deposit enrollments.
• Working alongside Medicaid Application specialist to assist with document collection and obtaining Medicaid approvals.
• Assisting with necessary audits
• Attend daily, weekly and monthly meetings as scheduled
• Obtain prior authorizations for services, treatments, and admissions when necessary.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid coverage
• Maintaining Social Security records and attending office appointments (phone or in person)
• Transmitting bank deposits, facility and resident petty cash, and visiting banks or other financial institutions.

Ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Microsoft Office apps, while also being detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Should also possess excellent communication skills and customer service abilities. Must be willing to work outside of their own core job functions when necessary for the benefit of the company.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
