Front Desk Receptionist (Bilingual – English & Spanish)

Lash and Eye Studio is now hiring a Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist who is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Are you an organized, friendly, positive, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the beauty industry? We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional receptionist to become the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our busy, upscale beauty salon.

Position Summary

As the first point of contact for our valued clients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience from the moment clients walk through our doors.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, can multitask efficiently, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional salon environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service

• Welcome clients with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Check clients in and out.
• Make every client feel comfortable and valued.
• Maintain a positive first impression of the salon.

Appointment Scheduling

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Answer appointment inquiries by phone, text message, email, and in person.
• Use our scheduling software accurately.

Customer Service & Communication

• Answer incoming phone calls professionally.
• Respond to emails and text messages promptly.
• Provide accurate information about salon services and retail products.
• Communicate confidently with clients in both English and Spanish.

Checkout & POS System

• Check clients in and out using our POS system (tablet and computer).
• Process cash and credit card payments.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer.
• Assist with retail product sales.

Front Desk Cleaning & Organization

• Clean and sanitize the front desk throughout the day.
• Disinfect countertops, payment terminals, phones, keyboards, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Keep office supplies and client forms organized.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times.

Retail Display

• Organize, clean, and restock retail displays.
• Keep products attractive, organized, and fully stocked.

Client Restroom Maintenance

• Perform daily light cleaning of the client restroom.
• Sanitize the toilet, sink, mirrors, and countertops.
• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.
• Ensure the restroom remains clean, fresh, and presentable throughout the day.

Team Support

• Coordinate with lash artists and technicians to help the daily schedule run smoothly.
• Assist with additional office duties when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Training Pay: $8.00/hour (approximately 1 week)
• Probation Period: $10.00/hour (approximately 1 month)
• Regular Pay: $12.00/hour after successfully completing the probation period.
• Earn an additional 20% commission on all retail product sales.
• Future pay increases are based on performance, reliability, attitude, and commitment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and scheduling software.
• Previous receptionist, customer service, salon, spa, or medical office experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
