Senior UI/UX Design Lead

RxBenefits is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior UI/UX Design Lead to spearhead a talented design team focused on enhancing our digital products within a rapidly expanding product organization. As a key player and coach, this leader will manage a team of designers dedicated to delivering exceptional B2B experiences for Clients, Brokers, and Internal Associates.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of designers, facilitating work assignments, performance evaluations, design reviews, and coaching sessions in both UX strategy and UX/UI design.
• Collaborate with product leaders to establish and disseminate UX strategy and vision across various innovative products.
• Oversee the intake process for the UX/UI team, ensuring tasks are prioritized based on business value.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to design intuitive and compelling user experiences.
• Develop frameworks, user flows, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes to eloquently convey product ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Create rapid prototypes that showcase diverse design concepts, effectively addressing customer and business challenges.
• Drive design solutions grounded in user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations.
• Utilize service blueprints to integrate 'front-stage' and 'back-stage' experiences for comprehensive design solutions.
• Guide all design stages from concept to development, ensuring a seamless execution process.
• Analyze user feedback to iterate and refine designs based on actionable insights.
• Influence the product development roadmap by contributing to research initiatives and feature development.
• Help develop design guidelines that foster consistent user experiences across the entire journey.
• Assess project requests, communicate effort levels, and effectively plan work within an agile environment.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in UX strategy and UX/UI design.
• Robust portfolio showcasing past design projects.
• Experience leading a team of designers.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Proficiency in wireframe and design tools, particularly Figma.
• Strong visual design capabilities.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience designing both B2C and B2B user experiences.

Preferred Experience

• Background in healthcare design.
• Experience in launching new products or solutions.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Development of accessibility solutions compliant with WCAG guidelines.

This role offers an anticipated salary range of $132,000 to $165,000 annually, with compensation determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
