Located in the heart of West Houston, Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center has been serving families since 1971. With more than 1,000 affiliated medical staff, 1,600 employees and 426 licensed hospital beds, Memorial City boasts state-of-the-art facilities designed
to enhance its nationally recognized healthcare services while adding to the comfort of patients and families. The 33-story Memorial Hermann Tower includes Women's Memorial Hermann and Children's Memorial Hermann - Houston's first dedicated women's and children's facilities
outside of the Texas Medical Center. Building on a 40-year legacy of caring for the community in West Houston, Memorial City has emerged as an advanced, award-winning academic medical center, offering high-level care typically found only in the Texas Medical Center.
Education: Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas or Graduate of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas if area of intended practice is Trauma; Masters of Nursing preferred.
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with at least two (2) years’ experience in palliative care or hospice; or Family Nurse Practitioner with Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN) certification, or post master’s certificate in Palliative Care required if area of intended practice is Palliative Care/Supportive Medicine.
