Customer Service/Sales Representative

This Customer Service/Sales Representative position will be seasonal, and part-time with the potential for rehire in the next season. It will require 20-25 hours each week during typical school hours (9am-2pm) with most of that time traveling in San Diego county, representing our company and meeting potential groups. A clean DMV record is a must.

We are the exclusive dealers, partnered with MayShine, offering Butter Braid Pastries and Wooden Spoon Cookie Dough, both manufactured by CountryMaid, Inc. We help people raise funds all over the San Diego, Riverside, and Orange communities.

Our Sales / Customer Service Representative will work with local schools and groups, introducing them to Excel Fundraising and our Mayshine programs. They will help spread brand and product awareness and help each group raise funds through our various product lines and programs.

Responsibilities include

• Lead Generation & Sales: Proactively identify new leads, engage potential customers through calls and emails, and share product samples through in-person meetings.
• Contact Follow up: Maintain contact management details and provide consistent and regular follow up.
• Goal Achievement: Work to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals with contact quotas, fundraiser signups and average group sales.
• Customer Service: Assist with educating our groups on the programs provided and the products offered. Perform Fundraiser Kick-offs to educate and motivate participants for maximum group involvement. Assist with deliveries as needed.

Requirements

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presentations.
• People Skills: Ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Pleasant personality. Able to convey excitement and motivation for set goals.
• Service Minded: Truly enjoy interacting with people, understanding their needs and having a desire to help others.
• Goal Oriented: Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer experience required. Microsoft Office. We will train on company software.
• Education: High School Diploma. Sales experience a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
