Location: Burnsville, MN (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

$130K–$160K

About the Role

A global technology organization is expanding its U.S. legal team and seeking a Legal Counsel to support commercial agreements, corporate matters, and day‑to‑day business advisory work across its U.S. operations. This is a broad, hands‑on role within a collaborative in‑house legal group that partners closely with business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor, customer, service, supply, licensing, etc.)
• Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and operational matters
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk, business strategy, and decision‑making
• Support cross‑functional teams including operations, finance, procurement, and leadership
• Assist with policy development, process improvements, and legal best practices
• Manage outside counsel as needed

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 3+ years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to commercial contracts and corporate matters
• Prior in‑house experience preferred but not required
• Strong business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with non‑legal stakeholders
• Ability to work onsite in Burnsville three days per week
