Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques, along with proficiency in various surveying tools and software. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate measurements and data collection for construction, engineering, and land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and land features.
• Utilize advanced surveying equipment such as Trimble and Carlson to gather precise measurements.
• Prepare detailed survey drawings and reports using CAD software.
• Analyze data using ArcGIS to create maps and spatial representations.
• Apply mathematical principles including trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and other relevant calculations to ensure accuracy in surveys.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide essential survey data for project planning.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in all surveying activities.
• Maintain accurate records of surveys conducted and manage project documentation effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in land surveying with a strong understanding of surveying principles.
• Proficiency in using CAD software for drafting survey plans.
• Familiarity with Trimble and Carlson surveying equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math concepts effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor environments.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
