Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key player in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial solar systems, ensuring all projects meet safety standards and customer expectations. You will work with a skilled, supportive team in a fast-growing industry with opportunities for growth and continuing education.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar panel systems according to Cedar Creek Energy standards and NEC codes.
• Manage electrical connections between solar arrays and the grid.
• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Install electrical equipment, including conduits, disconnects, and panels.
• Conduct quality control checks and system testing.
• Work independently or collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards.

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License, or willingness to test for Journeyman.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical experience, preferably including commercial projects.
• Ability to work on rooftops and in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift 60+ pounds consistently.
• Proficient with power tools, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid MN driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Experience in the solar industry is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to pass driving, drug, and criminal background checks.
