Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to provide leave coverage within the agriculture business, supporting grains, processing, and digital self-service technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in integrated campaign leadership, agency management, and performance reporting and a proven ability to align stakeholders, execute campaigns, and deliver measurable results.

This role includes broader support across planning, messaging, collateral, and cross-functional initiatives. The contractor will follow a hybrid schedule averaging two in-office days per week at Client headquarters in Inver Grove Heights, MN, with the first week requiring Monday-Wednesday onsite for onboarding and thereafter each Tuesday plus one additional in-office day of choice weekly.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance established marketing plans, including material development, campaign execution, and post-campaign metrics reporting.
• Plan, create, and execute promotional marketing campaigns and programs that increase awareness and preference for Client products and services.
• Lead collaboration with external agencies, including briefing, guiding creative development, aligning on execution plans, and ensuring delivery of high-quality assets.
• Manage agency timelines, deliverables, and performance; provide clear direction and feedback for efficient execution and continuous improvement.
• Oversee reporting and share results with internal marketing and business clients; define roadmaps and next steps following campaign conclusion.
• Engage with internal stakeholders across product, go-to-market, and business teams to translate priorities into actionable marketing plans and maintain alignment through execution.
• Provide flexible support across the agriculture marketing team as needs evolve, including stepping into priority initiatives outside core responsibilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or marketing communications (agency and/or in-house preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership of integrated marketing campaigns with budget and strategy alignment, execution oversight, and performance measurement.
• Proven ability to manage agency relationships and guide creative and media deliverables.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with corporate functions such as communications, operations, legal, compliance, and sales in a matrixed organization.
• Understanding of B2B and B2C audience differences and needs.
• Subject matter experience in agriculture industries.
