Our product team at Sportsdigita is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer who is passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to help shape the DIGIDECK platform and other interactive offerings.

This role is perfect for someone early in their career who’s eager to gain hands-on experience across the full design process—from concept and prototyping to user testing and validating designs before production.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile platforms.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Support user research and usability testing efforts to collect actionable feedback.
• Independently test and validate UI/UX implementations before features are deployed to production.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate and high-quality execution of design specs.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, patterns, and documentation.
• Apply best practices in accessibility, responsiveness, and interaction design.
• Stay up to date with UI/UX trends and propose ideas to enhance the product experience.

Required Skills

• 0–2 years of experience in UI/UX design (academic or internship experience welcome).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Foundational understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Familiarity with usability testing, A/B testing, and quality assurance for UX.
• Basic knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and problem-solving (can include personal or academic projects).

Desired Skills

• Experience with digital product design in a SaaS environment.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for improved dev collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and project tools like Jira, Trello, or Notion.
• Passion for sports, storytelling, and the impact of great user experiences.
