Duration: 7 Months, possible extension

Hours: M-F, 8-5, 40hrs/week

A well-established financial services organization is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support leaders through an exciting period of organizational growth and business transformation. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys partnering directly with people leaders, influencing business decisions, coaching managers, and helping organizations navigate change.

This is not a heavily administrative HR position. The focus is on building trusted partnerships with leadership, improving manager effectiveness, driving performance conversations, and supporting organizational initiatives that strengthen the employee experience.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business leaders to provide strategic and day-to-day HR guidance across multiple teams
• Coach managers on employee performance, leadership effectiveness, talent development, and workplace matters
• Build strong relationships with newly established leadership teams and become a trusted advisor on people-related decisions
• Support organizational change initiatives and help leaders successfully navigate evolving business priorities
• Guide leaders through performance management processes, talent discussions, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence on compensation, talent acquisition, learning, employee relations, and succession planning activities
• Interpret HR policies, employment regulations, and best practices while balancing business objectives and employee experience
• Analyze workforce trends and recommend practical solutions that improve engagement and organizational performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR programs, leadership capability, and people processes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Approximately 5 or more years of Human Resources Business Partner or HR Partner experience
• Experience coaching managers and building trusted relationships with business leaders
• Strong knowledge of performance management, leadership coaching, talent management, and HR best practices
• Experience supporting organizational change and business transformation initiatives
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence leaders while balancing business needs with employee experience
• Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance

Preferred Experience

• Human Resources experience supporting financial services, banking, wealth management, insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with regulatory environments and compliance-driven organizations
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
