Human Resources Leadership Partner - People Advisor

Hybrid - Charlotte, NC (2 days a week in office)

7-month W2 contract plus possible extensions

The People Advisor provides advice and counsel to leaders on a broad range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and organizational effectiveness. The role partners closely with leaders to provide coaching in support of employees and advisors and driving the execution of HR programs and initiatives.

The People Advisor serves as a liaison between HR and the business area leaders to deliver on Human Capital strategies and solutions, including leadership development, succession planning, strategic staffing, compensation and organizational design as well as the delivery of HR practices, programs and policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles and practices, federal laws and regulations
• Experience providing guidance on complex employee relations matters in partnership with ER specialists/investigators
• Demonstrated ability to drive a change agenda and deliver results
• Strategic leadership mindset, ability to work within agile environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Industry experience is preferred within Financial Services/Insurance (knowledge of FINRA and regulatory requirements)
• SPHR/PHR Certification Extensive knowledge of Human Resource principles, practices and employee relations
