Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC, responsible for being the first point of contact for clients and visitors. Day-to-day tasks include greeting clients, answering and directing phone calls, responding to basic inquiries, and managing the front desk area to ensure an organized and welcoming environment.

The role involves scheduling and confirming appointments, maintaining calendars, handling mail and deliveries, taking payments, and performing clerical duties such as copying, scanning, and filing documents. The Receptionist will update client records, support attorneys and staff with administrative tasks, and help maintain confidential information according to firm policies.

This position requires consistent professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to providing respectful, high-quality service to a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be Bilingual (Spanish)
• Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including managing visitors, handling inquiries, and coordinating appointments.
• Professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems calmly and efficiently.
• Clerical and administrative skills, such as data entry, filing, scanning, and basic document preparation.
• Clear and respectful communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external contacts.
• Customer service skills with a focus on empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow office procedures in a legal environment; prior law firm or professional office experience is beneficial.
• Comfort with basic office software (e.g., email, calendars, word processing); experience with case management systems is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in administration or customer service is a plus.
• Reliable attendance, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Prior Immigration a plus.
