About the Role

As a Business Attorney at Dye Culik, you'll serve as a trusted legal advisor to business owners and executives, helping clients navigate legal challenges while protecting and growing their businesses.

Your work may include

• Business formations and organizational planning
• Corporate governance and entity management
• Contract drafting, review, and negotiation
• Commercial transactions
• Business acquisitions and strategic transactions
• General outside counsel services for businesses
• Risk management and day-to-day legal counseling, dispute resolution, and business litigation
• Working with franchisors and franchisees
• Building long-term relationships with entrepreneurs and business leaders

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an attorney who combines strong legal skills with sound judgment, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to client service.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina law license is required
• South Carolina and/or Massachusetts licensure is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of business law or closely related legal experience
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, research, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent judgment, integrity, and professionalism
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Comfortable using modern legal technology and cloud-based practice management software
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Interested in developing lasting client relationships and participating in networking and business development
