Regional Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking a highly driven and motivated sales professional to fill our Tennessee Regional Business Development Manager position to support our exciting growth and development. This highly dynamic and rewarding position will focus on new B2B development with a heavy emphasis on networking and prospecting for the major territory geographies.

Responsibilities include: closing new business, prospecting, cold calling, prospect meetings, presenting programs, writing RFP responses, building your network, trade group participation and meeting sales goals.

COMISSION STRUCTURE

• Uncapped monthly commission structure based on performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generating new revenue and meeting sales targets
• Gathering and utilizing business intelligence on prospects to support cold calls, RFP responses, walkthroughs, presentations, and new business generation
• Building your customer network of security professionals
• Participate in our sales cadence and engage in weekly reporting and prospecting activity
• Maintain CRM for sales and pipeline tracking
• Represent the company professionally
• Assist Senior Vice President with strategic sales initiatives
• Active participation in geographic market-based trade organizations

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of business to business sales experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Salesforce CRM)
• Experience in RFP responses: writing answers, organizing info, responding to questions
• Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making the sale. Great team player leading and working with Ops team counterparts.
• Highly self-motivated, goal-driven, eager to learn, self-aware, and genuine curiosity is required

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• 50% required travel throughout the territory. Overnight stays do occur a few times per month, depending on business needs.
• Frequent driving between accounts, meetings and walkthroughs will occur throughout a typical workday, in a personal vehicle.
• Reimbursed for business mileage.
