Front-End Developer

UTA is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining web applications using the latest front-end technologies. You will collaborate with multiple teams across the company to create innovative, user-friendly web applications focused on continuous testing, mobile experiences, and cloud technologies.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do

• Development & Design
• Develop new user-facing features using React.js/Next.js and Material UI to create responsive and efficient web applications optimized for both web and mobile.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, ensuring consistent design and streamlined development.
• Collaborate with design, product and development teams to implement and maintain website design, ensuring technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimization & Integration
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring the best possible user experience.
• Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and web services, utilizing RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs as well as other relevant technologies to build robust front-end applications.
• Testing & Continuous Improvement
• Perform continuous testing using tools such as Storybook, Cypress, and Jest to ensure high-quality code and efficient testing practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, focusing on mobile experiences, cloud technologies, and best practices.

What You Will Need

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.3+ years of professional experience in React.js, Next.js, and Typescript with a deep understanding of front-end development best practices.

Strong knowledge of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience with mobile development, emphasizing responsive design and optimization.

Strong familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with APIs, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.

Proficiency in tools like Storybook, Cypress, and Jest for high-quality code testing and validation.

Experience with Netlify and cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for efficient collaboration and workflows.

Experience with GraphQL for building efficient and flexible APIs.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality code and efficient troubleshooting.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to build innovative and effective web applications.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing workloads effectively and meeting project goals.
