Inventory Control Supervisor

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for providing daily direction to inventory control team across multiple buildings. Ensures the inventory control team cycle-counts parts based on the work instructions and customer requirements. Ensures that the team timely researches discrepancies, capturing root causes and recommending process improvement when required. Help plan and execute physical inventories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure cycle count team is trained on proper cycle count and bin audit processes
• Ensure the cycle count schedule is maintained and followed
• Help integrate drone data into overall cycle count process
• Support program managers and warehouse team with inventory status as needed
• Understand and execute inventory-related SAP and WMS transactions
• Lead inventory control team in resolving inventory discrepancies
• Help plan and execute physical inventories
• Provide accurate and timely departmental reports
• Ability to write procedures
• Maintain necessary documentation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a minimum 3-5 years lead experience in a warehouse setting and a minimum of 1-2 years of inventory-related experience
• BS degree preferred, High school diploma required

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to lead, guide, and direct a team
• Solid skills in Excel
• Knowledge of SAP and WMS systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
• Knowledge of computer parts is preferred.
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Bilingual is a plus.
