In-House Commercial Transactions & Project Finance Attorney (On-site / Full Time In-House Counsel)

Latitude is working with a company who is adding a full-time in-house transactional attorney with deep project finance experience to its dynamic legal team in Nashville.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of four years of experience assisting corporate clients by structuring complex deals, negotiating tax credits, and drafting construction and term loans for energy, infrastructure, and commercial real estate projects. While this is an entry-level in-house position, the attorney must be able to independently manage deal flow, including due diligence, negotiating, drafting and closing.

During an interview, candidates will be asked to name the specific types of transactions they have supported and explain their involvement. This is an on-site position in the Nashville area with robust benefits, including future eligibility in a stock option plan.

Basic Requirements for the In-House Commercial Transactions & Project Finance Attorney:

• 4+ years of deep finance-side and broad transactional experience (including M&A, tax and/or contracting experience) in a top-tier corporate law firm or in-house with a comparable company
• Ability to work efficiently and successfully in a high-paced corporate environment, managing multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to work across various business teams and internal stakeholders
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible to register for in-house exemption)
• Outstanding professional references from former supervisors

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $220,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
