Electrician (Senior Journeyman)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on electrical experience, a strong understanding of electrical systems and jobsite operations, and a proven history of successfully completing electrical projects.

This is a senior-level position for a dependable professional who can work independently, demonstrate strong leadership in the field, and effectively communicate with customers, contractors, project managers, and other team members. Candidates with previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or Project Manager are highly preferred.

The successful candidate must be willing to work occasional nights or weekends. Night work is not typical but may occur occasionally depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and related work
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and electrical plans
• Diagnose electrical issues and determine the appropriate solutions
• Ensure electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements
• Work independently while also providing leadership and guidance to less experienced electricians and field personnel
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, supervisors, and customers as needed
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications
• Assist with estimating, project planning, material takeoffs, and job coordination when applicable
• Communicate effectively regarding project progress, challenges, materials, scheduling, and jobsite needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and jobsite safety requirements
• Be available for occasional on-call work or night work when required

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working as a Journeyman or Senior Journeyman Electrician
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Proven experience and a strong employment history in the electrical field
• Resume must demonstrate significant electrical experience
• Professional references are required and must be able to verify previous experience
• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or Project Manager is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work occasional nights and/or weekends
• Must pass a clean background check
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
