Role Description The Educational Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area, responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding educational and healthcare professionals for school and academic settings.

This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and client institutions, conducting interviews, coordinating placements, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. The Educational Recruiter collaborates with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develops targeted recruitment strategies, and manages job postings, screenings, and offer negotiations.

Daily activities include using applicant tracking systems, networking at local events, tracking recruitment metrics, and working closely with internal teams to meet staffing targets and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or staffing, ideally within education or healthcare environments.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with candidates, clients, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, goal-driven setting.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, and basic office software (e.g., MS Office, email, and virtual meeting platforms).
• Knowledge of school-based or healthcare staffing practices, compliance standards, and local labor market trends is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
