Accounting Consultant - Epicor Implementation

Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the finance-focused testing and validation activities for an Epicor ERP implementation across multiple business units. This role is ideal for an adaptable accounting leader who enjoys change management, taking ownership of complex initiatives, and improving processes while helping teams successfully navigate organizational change.

This consultant combines strong accounting expertise with hands-on Epicor implementation experience to ensure successful system adoption and operational excellence.

This role is based in Beaverton, Oregon.

Accounting Consultant Responsibilities

• Lead accounting-focused ERP implementation activities, including system testing, validation, and go-live readiness.
• Partner with accounting, finance, operations, and project stakeholders to support a successful ERP rollout.
• Evaluate and improve accounting workflows, financial processes, and system functionality throughout the implementation.
• Support change management efforts by helping teams adapt to new processes and overcome implementation challenges.
• Assist with post-implementation stabilization, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Accounting Consultant Qualifications

• Epicor ERP implementation experience supporting accounting and finance operations is required.
• Strong accounting or finance background. Experience a CFO, Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership experience.
• Experience leading ERP testing, user acceptance validation, and financial process improvements from the business side of an implementation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing accounting processes and familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, along with strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.
