We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
• Help residents with mobility and physical exercises, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Maintain a safe living environment.
• Support individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's by providing direct support tailored to their unique needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the home or care facility.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
• Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition or behavior.

Skills

• Experience in caregiving or home care is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Experience working with individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's/disabilities is highly valued.
• Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for residents are a plus.
• Previous experience in group home settings or direct support roles is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Great teamwork and compassion for caregiving

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
