About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations at our full-service restaurant locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent guest experiences.

You’ll be responsible for leading the team, running service, and ensuring smooth front and back of house operations — while working closely with ownership to implement systems and continue improving the business. This role requires the ability to take clear direction from leadership and effectively execute and implement that vision at the store level.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including lunch, dinner, and bar service
• Manage and support both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams
• Drive a high-quality guest experience and strong hospitality standards
• Oversee service flow, floor management, and team coordination during shifts
• Hire, train, and develop team members
• Address workplace issues directly and constructively while maintaining a positive team culture
• Set clear expectations for performance, accountability, and behavior across the team
• Use strong emotional intelligence to navigate team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively
• Consult with and take direction from ownership and leadership, and successfully implement systems, processes, and initiatives at locations
• Create accountability while coaching team members to improve and grow
• Develop and implement team incentives or initiatives that drive performance and engagement
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and standards
• Manage scheduling, labor, and basic cost controls
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational consistency
• Support implementation of systems, training, and process improvements
• Partner with ownership on ongoing improvements and growth initiatives

This role requires flexibility and a hands-on leadership approach. While schedules are planned, the Restaurant General Manager is ultimately responsible for the success of the locations, including stepping in to support the team during call-outs or busy periods, responding to emergencies, and working beyond 40 hours regularly.

This role requires a strong sense of ownership and accountability, along with the ability to build and lead a team that can operate effectively and reduce the need for constant coverage over time.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years experience in a full-service restaurant
• Experience in a leadership role (shift lead, assistant manager, or GM)
• Strong understanding of FOH and BOH operations and guest experience
• Experience with bar or alcohol service management preferred
• Strong hospitality instincts and ability to create a high-energy, guest-focused environment
• High emotional intelligence and ability to manage different personalities effectively
• Proven ability to set clear expectations, hold standards, and develop team members
• Ability to take direction, adapt quickly, and execute leadership initiatives effectively
• Comfortable holding standards while maintaining a positive and respectful culture
• Organized, reliable, and solutions-oriented
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Eager to grow and take on increasing responsibility over time
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

First 30 Days

• Builds strong relationships with the team and earns their trust
• Learns systems, menu, and service flow inside and out
• Shows up consistently, leads by example, and brings positive energy to shifts
• Identifies immediate operational gaps and begins addressing them

60 Days In

• Confidently running shifts and leading both FOH and BOH teams
• Improving consistency in service, cleanliness, and execution
• Begins coaching team members and addressing performance issues proactively
• Sets clear expectations with team members and improves communication across shifts
• Effectively implements initial direction and systems introduced by leadership

90 Days In

• Fully owns day-to-day operations with minimal oversight
• Team is more accountable, consistent, and engaged
• Demonstrates strong leadership through clear communication, conflict resolution, and follow-through
• Successfully executes leadership initiatives and maintains consistency in standards
• Implements at least one operational improvement (systems, training, or incentives) that positively impacts performance
• Contributes ideas and helps prepare the locations for continued growth and expansion
