Motus Recruiting & Staffing is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Division Manager to lead a growing commercial janitorial operation while driving operational excellence, business growth, and exceptional customer service.

This 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a collaborative leader with experience managing multi-site operations, developing teams, and building strong client relationships.

Location: Portland, OR (regular travel to Hillsboro and Salem)

Hourly Pay range: $45.19 - $50.48/hr. DOE.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM-6:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• Flexibility to respond to operational or customer needs outside normal business hours

Upon Conversion: Company vehicle, comprehensive benefits package

Key Responsibilities of Janitorial Division Manager

• Lead day-to-day commercial janitorial operations across multiple locations.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and financial performance.
• Develop new business opportunities, prepare bids, renew contracts, and strengthen client relationships.
• Coach and develop supervisors while building a high-performing, engaged team.
• Ensure quality service through inspections, process improvements, and standardized operating procedures.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, equipment, and capital assets.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, licensing, and company policies.
• Foster an inclusive, people-first culture while supporting continuous operational improvement.

Required Qualifications of a Janitorial Division Manager

• BA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years leading commercial janitorial operations or a similar service organization.
• Bilingual English/Spanish. HIGHLY DESIRED!
• Experience managing multiple sites, supervisors, budgets, and operational teams.
• Proven customer relationship management and business development skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing bids and managing commercial service contracts.
• Experience within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
