People Operations Assistant

Our client is seeking a People Operations Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities. This role is primarily focused on processing employment changes, maintaining employee records, managing HR documentation, and ensuring a seamless experience for employees throughout their employment journey.

The ideal candidate thrives in an administrative environment, enjoys working with systems and data, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

This role is on-site 1x a week, with initial weeks having additional on-site days for training, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Process employment changes, including hires, transfers, promotions, status changes, and terminations
• Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now
• Prepare, distribute, and track documentation through DocuSign
• Manage and respond to inquiries received through the HR inbox
• Assist with claims administration and related documentation
• Perform high-volume data entry and record maintenance
• Organize and maintain digital personnel files and HR records
• Ensure employee information is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies
• Collaborate with HR team members and business partners to support operational needs

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, Human Resources Administration, or a related administrative role
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
• Strong data entry and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience managing electronic documents and digital filing systems
• Familiarity with DocuSign or similar document management platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Collaborative team player with a positive, service-oriented approach
