Junior Front-End Web Developer

Position Overview

Two Barrels is hiring a Junior Front-End Web Developer for $75,000/year. This full-time, 40-hour per week role is available remotely with options in Spokane, Austin, or SLC. In this role you will work closely with experienced front-end developers to launch, maintain, and update a variety of websites, while collaborating with our team of content writers and designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Launch, maintain, and update a variety of websites
• Optimize sites for scale and feasibility
• Collaborate with a team of front-end developers to create awesome websites
• Accurately transform mockups into fully-fledged websites
• Work with content writers and designers to bring creative visions to life

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with HTML and CSS
• 1+ year of experience converting design files into HTML and CSS
• 1+ year of experience with JavaScript and jQuery
• Knowledge of responsive design with practical implementation experience
• Working knowledge of CSS Frameworks, preferably Bootstrap
• Working knowledge of CSS Preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
• Experience using version control tools like git
• Exposure to WordPress

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server side web development languages like PHP
