You'll partner with stakeholders and development teams to gather requirements, improve applications, and help deliver projects that drive business results. This role also supports Agile project delivery through Scrum processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Location/Schedule

This position will be on-site at our Salt Lake City, UT headquarters. Hybrid Office: 4 days in office, 1 day optional work from home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user needs, and use cases, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• Analyze software applications, systems, and web services to identify opportunities for improved functionality, efficiency, security, and user experience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, QA, and technical staff to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and ensure successful solution delivery.
• Apply Agile and Scrum principles to plan, manage, and deliver projects, including facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching team members, and promoting continuous improvement.
• Foster team ownership, accountability, and adherence to Agile best practices while maintaining clear and comprehensive project and process documentation.
• Manage day-to-day project execution by tracking progress, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and financials, while helping teams remove impediments and improve performance.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, testing, code promotions, and system implementations, serving as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project status updates, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or related field preferred; an associate degree will also be considered.

Experience

• 1+ year experience in a technical business analysis role in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Agile framework.
• Experience with SQL, data security, and encryption.
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and ServiceNow.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range

$68,000-$80,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
